Carmen is a specialist in Program Evaluation and Public Policy. She’s Diploma in Business Studies and Bachelor in Business Administration and Management at the University of Valencia and Master in Development Cooperation specializing in Local Development. And Master Program Evaluation and Public Policy at the Complutense University of Madrid.
During her beginnings more than a decade, she developed her career in the private sector as an economic manager and business development in Spanish companies with international projection. In 2008 joins with the international non-governmental organization, Jesuit Refugee Service, as Financial Officer in the Great Lakes Region, based in Burundi, and performing various missions in Rwanda and in the Democratic Republic of Congo. After two years volunteering in Central Africa develops her humanitarian commitment as international aid worker in South Sudan and in the region of Middle East and North Africa.
Since then she has conducted research and teaching in Evaluation, Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening and develop her professional activity in the field of evaluation consultancy.
She has carried out several complex assessments for different addresses and performs technical assistance in planning, monitoring and evaluation to private entities and non-profit.
For more than 20 years of career she has had the opportunity to travel to countries in Middle East, Europe and Africa, where she has lived for years. Her personal and professional experiences result in an amalgam of cultures and perspectives greatly enrich her work.
